DEKA Research and Development invites you to join our dynamic team and be at the forefront of driving quality excellence! As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you'll be a key player in our dynamic environment, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

How you will make an impact as a Supplier Quality Specialist:
  • Perform supplier qualifications in support of QMS including, supplier audits, review of Quality Agreements, review of certifications, and review of supplier surveys.
  • Documentation support
  • Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL)
  • Review and support Supplier Corrective Action requests (SCARs) and responses
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and communicate supplier expectations
  • Facilitate meetings between Engineering, Supplier Management, and Purchasing
  • Monitor supplier performance and supplier qualifications to assist in maintaining the status of the supplier
  • Support development and maintenance of supplier management procedures and processes
  • Support supplier management process improvements
  • Support QMS collection and trending of supplier-related quality data
  • Manage and maintain supplier quality databases
  • Support supplier audits and inspections
To be successful as a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will need the following skills and experience:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • Must have experience in a documentation focused industry
  • Must have experience working within an administrative system
  • Customer/Vendor/Supplier communication experience
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to review and analyze data for accuracy and interpret and speak to the documented results
  • Skilled in various computer programs. Including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, ERP and MRP tools
