Licensing Manager - NAM

Job Summary

The Licensing Manager is responsible for managing a group of product categories and licensees with the goal of meeting or exceeding predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives for the Wrangler and Lee brands

Responsibilities

• Accountable for developing, proposing, overseeing and implementing the business strategy for multiple Softline product categories including Apparel/Accessories/Footwear/Home and Personal Care
• Develops strategies and business plans by brand and category
• Responsible for new business and revenue growth opportunities with existing licensees
• Acts as an ambassador for the brand. Research and understand competitive landscape. Analyze and understand market trends, consumer trends, retailer and industry needs.
• Develop and implement product strategies, merchandising, and marketing plans to ensure that sales are maximized and marketing objectives met
• Partner with sales and brand in assortment/retail planning/sales pitches where relevant
• Manage licensee portfolio - contract negotiation, data management, approvals, submissions, promotion, advertising as well as day to day relationships

Requirements

• Strong understanding of band positioning, retail business development function, retail distribution and the retail environment
• Highly detail oriented, excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Flexibility/Ability to work within 2 different brands and structures
• Excellent MS Excel/Power point
