Computational Materials Engineer, Senior Key Role: Play a critical role in advancing materials research and development efforts through computational modeling, data analysis, and materials simulation. Understand materials science principles and computational tools to drive projects from concept to implementation. Develop and execute computational models to predict material properties, optimize material performance, and guide experimental designs. Analyze large datasets to uncover material trends, establish structure-property relationships, and validate computational models against experimental results. Partner with researchers, experimental scientists, and engineering teams to align computational strategies with project goals. Develop, refine, and implement scripts, workflows, and software tools for automating simulations and data analysis. Identify and integrate emerging technologies, methodologies, and computational approaches to enhance materials R&D capabilities. Maintain detailed records of methodologies, analyses, and results. Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Basic Qualifications:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
