- This position is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of all equipment in the facility.
- Ensure that all scheduled inspections and repairs are completed correctly, effectively, and promptly.
- Perform oil and coolant changes on production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair bearings, ball screws, and servo motors.
- Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance activities are being performed and documented per schedule.
- Install and relocate equipment as needed throughout the workshop.
- Work with equipment manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems.
- Effectively document the work performed to maintain accurate work history and troubleshooting notes.
- Responsible for changing out air conditioning filters and light fixture switches.
- Responsible for maintaining outside sprinkler systems and outside lighting.
- Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.
- Coordinate and support with the Facilities Supervisor to resolve equipment problems and schedule maintenance activities.
- Ensure 6s are maintained in the assigned work areas.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of equipment troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Must be able to read machine prints and determine which items are needed to complete any repairs.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Ability to replace electronic components.
- Must be able to work independently quickly, follow directions, and make decisions.
- Ability to do general facilities repairs, including lighting repair and maintenance.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Ability to maintain machine coolant at proper concentrations.
- Ability to do drywall repairs and painting.
- Must be able to communicate and read English proficiently.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

- Must be able to lift, move, transport, and load items across the building up to 50 pounds at times.

- Specific coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of equipment.
- Must be able to work off ladders, sky lifts, and various heights.
- Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected.
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to read computer screens and documents.
- Normal hearing or corrected to normal.
- Ability to monitor machine sounds, identify and diagnose changes, and take appropriate action.
