Jack Henry is seeking a Compliance Analyst (mid-level) to join our Complementary Solutions team. This individual will provide audit support, compliance monitoring and tracking vulnerabilities remediation. This individual will interface with external auditors and other business units within Jack Henry. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about information systems and security with a hunger to learn the intricacies of audit and compliance. The ideal candidate brings a keen eye for detail, a logical mind, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.

This position will be based remotely within the United States.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitation of audits, including ensuring all requested information is provided to auditors in a timely manner and all questions are answered. Keeping department management apprised of the progress and aware of any potential issues that have arisen. Work with the business unit on responses to findings and acceptable remediation timeframes. Review and edits of draft audit reports.
  • Complete regulatory compliance reviews, audits, self-assessments, and systematic reviews.
  • Assess changes to the BU environment, Jack Henry polices requirements and determine their impact to BUs processes and controls.
  • Support governance, risk, compliance, and security-related JH projects as assigned.
  • Proactively monitor and track Business Units Threat & Vulnerability management dashboard and ensure BUs remediation plan is noted.
  • Follows up on internal and external findings from security-related reviews and other third-party reviews.
  • Evaluates internal controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation of policies and procedures, in order to adhere to regulations.
  • Provide guidance to management and staff on external requirements, audit concerns, and internal control best practices
  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business units and JH technology staff to ensure that communication is open and ongoing.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in any combination of auditing, compliance, or information security role.
  • Experience coordinating IT compliance and audit activities and supporting compliance requirements (e.g., SOC and FFIEC).
  • Familiarity with security and controls standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., SOC, NIST, COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001).
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% for meetings/ conferences.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Familiarity with SOC1/SOC 2 reporting and the ability to coordinate input across multiple teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Dependable, hardworking, professional, self-starter, able to work well with cross functional teams.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISM), GIAC or equivalent IT audit and controls related certification.
