Precise Systems is looking for a Software Engineer to support our NSWC Crane customer on site. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approaches to the development, operation, and maintenance of software. You will encompass techniques and procedures often regulated by a software development process with the purpose of improving the reliability and maintainability of software systems. You will work to establish software information and engineering requirements necessitated by the potential complexity of those software systems, which may contain millions of lines of code. You will apply the discipline of software engineering for specific technical problems and procedures, including knowledge, tools, and methods for software requirements, software design, software construction, software testing, and software maintenance tasks. You will relate the disciplines of software engineering to the disciplines of computer science, computer engineering, management, mathematics, project management, quality management, software ergonomics, and systems engineering. Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $66,913.60 to $114,354.72 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
