Manager, Digital Campus Services The Manager of Digital Campus Services leads the Digital Campus team, serving as a champion for delivering exceptional user experiences through Davidson's collaboration platforms, desktop systems, artificial intelligence tools, and emerging technologies. This position combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight to ensure campus-wide technologies deliver value while maintaining focus on future innovations. As a working manager, they balance technical execution with team leadership and stakeholder engagement. As a member of the T&I leadership team, the Digital Campus Services Manager will contribute to Davidson's mission of "driving digital transformation that advances Davidson's primary purpose." They are expected to foster a high-performing team culture built on collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Digital Campus team members, providing technical guidance and performance management
- Drive strategic direction of Davidson's digital collaboration, endpoint management, and artificial intelligence services
- Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and service incidents
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the college
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Oversee the team's product ownership model, ensuring service quality and continuous improvement
- Lead initiatives to integrate new technologies, including AI tools, into Davidson's digital ecosystem
- Manage team resources and budget allocations
- Foster an inclusive team environment and advance DEI principles in hiring and development practices
- Lead change management initiatives for new technology implementations
- Maintain and develop technical documentation and training programs
- Oversee administration of SaaS platforms and cloud collaboration tools
- Participate in college-wide committees and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in information technology
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud collaboration platforms (Zoom, Office 365, Google Workplace)
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts and protocols
- Experience administering SaaS platforms at scale
- Experience with project management and resource allocation
- Excellence in stakeholder communication and relationship management
- Proven ability to develop team members and foster continuous improvement
- Strong technical documentation and training program development skills
Desired Skills & Abilities
- Experience in a higher education setting
- Strong understanding of collaboration platform concepts (meeting room, video conferencing, UCaaS)
- Familiarity with endpoint management practices and platforms
- Experience with artificial intelligence and its applications
