THE JOB:

As a Steward Heavy Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining of our restaurant outlet's dishwashing machines, oven hoods, fryers, dinnerware, flatware, and glassware. You will help to create a safe and clean work area in the restaurant outlet's kitchens.

THE STARTING RATE:$16.46

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage and maintain the keral dish washing machines, the de-liming process, oven hoods, and ceilings all to Health Regulation Standards
• Receive and clean our guest's soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware following proper departmental procedures
• Remove cleaned dinnerware, flatware, and glasses and replace in appropriate dining outlets
• Maintain the kitchen area by properly mopping and sweeping floor, operating the buffer and vacuum machines, and monitoring trash levels in the receptacles
• Work with a diverse team of enthusiastic people in a FUN and fast-paced environment to achieve company goals
• Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Own the guest experience in any situation by using problem solving skills to WOW the guest

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of kitchen working experience preferred
• Two years of kitchen experience in a similar environment preferred
• Has basic knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Has a high energy and positive attitude
• Is a team player
• Is welcoming and engaging
• Has strong communication skills
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
• Displays excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills
