Job Description:

Survey Administration and Reporting:

• Oversee the administration, analysis, and reporting of alumni surveys (1-year and 5-year post-graduation surveys), the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), Graduating Student Exit Survey and other campus-wide surveys.

Data Requests and Analysis:

• Fulfill data requests from various university departments, analyzing data to support program reviews, grant proposals, accreditation processes, and other institutional reporting needs.

Report Management:

• Manage and update external and internal reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

• Maintain and update the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment website to provide stakeholders with current information.

Tools and Reporting Systems:

• Use SQL Developer to extract data from the Ellucian Operational Data Store (ODS) for data requests.

• Build reports in Cognos Analytics for use across the university community.

• Leverage Workday to retrieve HR-related data for reporting needs.

• Create interactive dashboards using Tableau for stakeholder engagement and decision-making.

Work Location:

• This position will have a hybrid schedule.

Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the goals and operations of the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.

Minimal Qualifications:

1. Twenty-four (24) semester hours of college credit for course work in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, with specialization in operations research and/or mathematical modeling, and including twelve (12) semester hours of credit in mathematical modeling and/or mathematical programming.

Departmental Preferences: The ideal candidate for this role will possess skills in survey research and survey design.

Salary: $60,000
