Job Summary Are you a creative storyteller who loves inspiring others? We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist who understands what it takes to create and deliver a message that inspires action, builds belonging, and creates a sense of pride in the impact we make around the globe. You will play a critical role in fostering employee engagement and strengthening our company culture by crafting clear, compelling, and authentic content that aligns with our values of collaboration, client-focus, integrity, innovation, and sustainability.

As part of our Internal Communications Center of Excellence, you will shape and build impactful internal communication messaging and content using engaging storytelling techniques for a variety of channels including our intranet, email, town halls, and websites. The ideal candidate is a collaborative writer who can work cross-functionally and at scale to create communications that address employee concerns, celebrate milestones, and drive engagement. This person collaborates effectively with both executives and colleagues and consistently delivers high-quality results under tight deadlines. Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing:

Content Creation

  • Develop compelling, strategic content across channels (newsletters, announcements, intranet, presentations, etc.), ensuring quality and brand consistency.

  • Create storytelling initiatives to showcase employee achievements and enhance organizational pride.

  • Support company events like All Hands meetings and leadership Q&As with engaging content and creative assets (e.g., video scripts, infographics).

Strategic Alignment

  • Collaborate with leadership and teams to ensure communications align with the company's mission, vision, and strategic goals.

  • Simplify complex strategies into relatable messages that inspire and guide employees.

  • Proactively communicate organizational changes to foster understanding and engagement.

Content Management

  • Maintain and update intranet and digital communication platforms for timeliness and relevance.

  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar aligned with company priorities and events.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategies and improve engagement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or journalism.

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in a large professional services organization required (A/E/C industry experience is a plus).

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your work in corporate communications, including expertise in change management, internal communications, and HR communications.

  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging, clear, and impactful messages that connect with and inspire diverse audiences.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple, high-impact initiatives simultaneously.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills, with experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

  • Creative thinker and implementer, always looking at innovative ideas for storytelling and employee engagement programs.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

  • Collaborator with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
