Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for our client, a food manufacturing company located in Buffalo NY! Qualified candidate must have applicable quality experience in food manufacturing Salary up to $100k/year 100% onsite Responsibilities Serve as the point of contact for audits and inspections, ensuring timely response to new or changes in regulations on specifications, procedures, quality, and implications. Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of food safety measures into daily operations. Train and educate employees on food safety protocols and best practices to foster a culture of safety and quality. Lead investigations into quality issues across production (allergen risk management, equipment risk management, material or packaging nonconformance). Facilitate and/or direct resolution to issues as it relates to food safety and quality. Oversee product testing and release process, implement a proactive problem-solving approach to any potential out of spec situations. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
