The People Technology Analyst III role enables business, and People & Culture leaders, through internal workforce and external market insights, to take informed decisions and enact recommendations that drive workforce productivity and engagement, ensuring Jack Henry always has a suitably qualified and experienced workforce that delivers for its customers. This role will work as part of the wider People& Culture team to support the attraction, retention, and development of critical skills that enable business performance.

This position will primarily be standard Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, however, there may be occasional weekend work required.

The target salary range for this position is $58,000 - $78,000. However, depending on the experience and level of a candidate, a higher level and/or total compensation may be considered.

This is a remote or hybrid role that must be located in any of the following metro areas: Dallas, TX; Louisville, KY; Kansas City, MO; or Monett/Springfield; MO.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Analyzes day-to-day information needs for various human resources functions' reports, audits or transactional issues, including documenting business requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining data integrity in the HRIS, developing and documenting consistent and appropriate data coding structures, and training HRIS users in properly applying codes and other data entry conventions.
  • Designs new or modifies existing HRIS to meet changing demands. Evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands.
  • Develops, maintains, generates, and distributes standard and custom reports and queries for special projects.
  • Acts as the liaison between human resources and systems personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine the extent of programming involved.
  • Conducts system maintenance and upgrades, including testing, to ensure system functions as required. Documents and recommends system modifications and/or process improvements.
  • Develop communication and conduct training for end users.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HRIS or Workday, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or PeopleSoft experience.
  • Able to prepare and deliver informative and well-organized presentations.
  • Able to provide project status reviews to stakeholders, process owners, and customers.
  • Good written and verbal communication, customer interactions and project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience working with Total Rewards modules supporting payroll and / or compensation.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong skills in creating and managing queries in ERP.
  • Experience successfully deconstructing/turning off /on HCMS module functionality in any HRIS or ERP system such as, Oracle Peoplesoft, Oracle Fusion, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or ADP, etc.
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques to gather, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements; ability to analyze these requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
  • Knowledge of the activities, tasks, deliverables and techniques for documenting current business processes; ability to identify problems, opportunities, and strategies to realize improvement successfully.
  • Knowledge of the activities, tasks and deliverables to conduct and validate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and end-user training specific to the HCMS modules.
