Our Bridge Engineering team is seeking a visionary Lead Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA. You'll be at the forefront of exciting regional, national, and international bridge projects, collaborating with top professionals in the industry. What You'll Lead:

  • Oversee technical support during construction, including site inspections and administration.

  • Prepare complex drawings in accordance with standards such as AASHTO, Caltrans procedures, and the latest engineering innovations.

  • Lead conventional and alternative delivery bridge projects statewide.

  • Manage and mentor a talented team of engineers to achieve technical excellence.

  • Serve as the Primary Client Manager for transportation agencies, cities, and counties in Central and Northern California, fostering relationships that drive project success.

  • Partner with the team on project pursuits and proposals.

  • Represent our projects with confidence and clarity through public presentations on technical and design issues.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (EAC/ABET accredited).

  • Master's degree is a plus.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (California PE or ability to obtain within 6 months).

  • 10+ years in structural design/management of bridges and specialty structures, with Design-Build experience as a bonus.

  • Strong technical expertise in the design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and transportation structures.

  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

  • Sound oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$153,600- $235,400 annually for this position and local market.We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.TYLin is proud to offer exciting career development opportunities.
