Summary:

Manages the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that optimize marketing effectiveness, grow eCommerce sales, and enhance user experience. Responsible for leading the digital strategy for Rombauer Vineyards, to include both the long term vision and daily updates and maintenance. The digital strategy is driven by two main factors - growth of ecommerce P&L and engagement with Rombauer consumers on all digital touchpoints. This position serves as the voice of Rombauer Vineyards across all digital channels.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for driving ecommerce sales through email marketing campaigns, national digital advertising campaigns, website management and optimization in partnership with brand and DTC leadership
  • Leads as expert in emerging digital technologies and consumer trends
  • Directly manages Digital Marketing Coordinator to help achieve business goals
  • Owns all digital marketing ad campaigns across paid channels to drive awareness and direct sales through rombauer.com in partnership with agencies. Mines analytics for potential optimization opportunities.
  • Designs and executes KPIs and reporting to communicate digital business performance and results, and inform future strategies and tactics
  • Owns all automation strategy and execution
  • Leads and develops website enhancements for improved user experience and conversion.
  • Serves as digital leader in DTC channels to deliver growth and improved customer experiences in wine club and tasting rooms.
  • Manages all digital content needs to include campaign development, calendar planning, creative brief development, photoshoots, writing (e.g., factsheets, scripts for video needs, blog posts,etc.)
  • Host VIP tastings for high-touch customers and provides event support.
  • Collaborates with Digital Marketing Coordinator on social media to include posting and monitoring customer engagement through the various channels (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Ensures digital compliance within CPRA, TCPA, and other guidelines and regulations.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for website refreshes, CRM and e-mail.
  • Presents to leadership on digital landscape and delivery of business objectives.
  • Tracks and monitors KPIs.
  • Develops and manages digital marketing A&P
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of marketing experience to include digital reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of marketing experience to include digital reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with all aspects of Digital Marketing including CRM, web, search, mobile/apps, and social media.
  • Proven success growing ecommerce P&L
  • Experience managing agencies to create consumer facing campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate level of CMS, CRM, Tock, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing digital or web agencies.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of marketing experience to include digital reflecting increasinglevels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 11 years of marketing experience to include digital reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with Photoshop, illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, and social media advertising platforms.
  • Experience with Commerce7, Klavivo, Wordpress, Sprout Social, Yelp, and DropBox
  • Experience in the wine industry.

Compensation

  • Hiring Salary Range: $124,200 - $186,200/Year
  • Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
