Overview

Pharming is seeking to hire a highly motivated Director, Patient Server Analytics & Management to contribute to all aspects of our HIPAA Certified Patient Data System with primary responsibilities for server architecture, data curation, and the related patient CRM environment. Our goal for this role is to drive initiatives in data management and execute key strategies in building the Pharming patient data ecosystem. Successful execution will involve knowledge of privacy and healthcare interoperability standards like GDPR, HIPAA and HL7, FHIR. This is a hybrid role - must be able to report 2 to 3 days at the Warren, NJ office.

Key Responsibilities

The Director, Patient Server Analytics & Management will be responsible for a wide variety of matters in support of Pharming's growth:

Core functions include:




  • Understand business, conceptualize system framework, define requirements, and coordinate implementation with internal and external partners for project implementation.
  • Drive initiatives in Data Management, deploy enablement practices for reference and metadata and execute key strategies in building the Pharming Patient Data Ecosystem
  • Deliver data analysis services, ingesting data in a HIPAA Certified Data Platform, creating data hubs to integrate and distribute data in the form of products, and supporting integration to applications to generate insights through AI/ML.
  • Drive operationalization and adoption of data products and AI/ML solutions in generating insights supporting Patient Service-related functions.
  • Provide consultancy advice, as a trusted partner, to stakeholders within the business and other technology teams from strategic partners / vendors for on-going and new implementation projects and ensure they alignment with organization goals.



Minimum Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or quantitative discipline with 12+ years of experience OR Master's degree in a computer science or engineering discipline with 8+ years of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working with data in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in oncology, hematology, and/or rare diseases.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience working with biopharmaceutical market data (meaning of data, limitations of data, ability to manipulate, etc.) including Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributors, Hub and 3PL data.
  • Excellent technical skills (e.g. Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx, SFDC/Veeva, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of sales operations technologies, models, and analyses.
  • Robust interpersonal presentation skills required.

  • Aptness to build relationships by pro-actively contributing value-added information with all relevant groups and networks effectively across the company.
  • Effective organization and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Competency in conducting/analyzing research and distilling down data into concise summaries focused on the key insights informing business decisions.
  • Strong business visualization skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid organizational skills, great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • May need to travel up to 10% domestically.



Salary Range

Pharming takes into consideration a combination of candidate's work experience, training, and education, as well as the scope of the role, complexity, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level.

The base salary range for this job is from $190,000.00 TO $210,000.00 per year.
