The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Job Description

The Ed Tech Portfolio Analyst Intern will support the Head of Portfolio Management in optimizing resource allocation and capacity management to ensure successful portfolio planning and delivery. This role focuses on leveraging data and insights to align time, budget, and workforce capacity with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include analyzing resource utilization and capacity across projects, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and developing tools to support proactive planning and decision-making. The intern will assist in creating dashboards and reports to provide visibility into resource demands, ensuring projects are adequately staffed and aligned with timelines and budgets. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive effective resource forecasting and recommend strategies to balance workloads and mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop expertise in resourcing and capacity management within the context of portfolio planning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

*This part-time internship is currently budgeted for six months
