At the core of this ecosystem is Secure Data Sharing, which allows data Providers and Consumers to exchange data efficiently without traditional file transfers or APIs. Marketplace and Data Sharing are central to Snowflake's vision, driving the network effect of our Data Cloud.

About the Role

As the Collaboration & Marketplace team, you'll help maintain a trusted, high-quality Marketplace, ensure smooth provider onboarding, and be the primary point of contact for customers. You will work closely with customers, the Product team, and the Field in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will fall into three main areas:
  1. Customer Workflow Management - Handle customer-facing processes to ensure a trusted Marketplace. This includes reviewing content, testing data/apps, managing cases, hosting Zoom calls, and collaborating across teams to resolve issues.

  2. Process and Product Improvements - Identify and implement solutions to improve and scale operations.

  3. Ad Hoc Projects - Lead initiatives such as product launches, migrations, and deep dives into specific challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content & Provider Reviews - Evaluate Marketplace submissions daily to ensure compliance with policies and provide timely feedback to providers.

  • Application Testing - Test new native applications to verify functionality and configuration.

  • Support Monetization - Help customers navigate billing/monetization workflows and coordinate with Sales on eligibility.

  • Application testing - Test incoming native applications shared in listings to confirm they meet functionality and configuration requirements.

  • Provider Onboarding - Guide providers through onboarding via email and Zoom, clarifying policies and requirements.

  • Troubleshooting & Escalation - Resolve customer issues or escalate them to Product with detailed bug reports.

  • Process & Policy Optimization - Use data and customer feedback to identify gaps, propose improvements, and streamline operations.

  • Customer Outreach - Proactively gather feedback and support Marketplace users to enhance their experience.

  • Continuous Learning - Stay updated on Snowflake's features, policies, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS). Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

  • Experience - 3+ years in an analytical, product specialist, technical consulting, or quality assurance roles at a tech company. (Marketplace or Application Store experience or billing experience is a plus).

  • Technical Skills

    • Advanced SQL (joins, subqueries, constraints; daily use).

    • Knowledge of Python, Scala, or Java is a plus.

    • Familiarity with cloud environments and ETL processes.

  • Communication - Strong written and verbal skills; confident working with customers via Zoom.

  • Problem-Solving - Ability to break down complex problems, visualize workflows (e.g., using Lucid or Visio), and prioritize solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Proven success in working across teams in a fast-changing environment.

  • Track Record - Demonstrated ability to meet SLA targets.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $146,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
