Accounting Assistant Schedule: 1st, (8AM-4:30PM) Pay Rate: $21 - $24/hr (Based on Experience) Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to grow your career with a dynamic team? a leading company in the industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team on the 1st shift. If you have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with accounts payable, and are skilled in general accounting practices, we would love to hear from you! Job Duties: Vouchering PO Invoices and Freight: Ensuring proper documentation and timely processing of purchase order (PO) invoices and freight charges. Processing Check Runs: Assisting in the preparation and processing of check runs in a timely and accurate manner. Processing Credit Card Transactions: Ensuring the proper processing and documentation of company credit card transactions. Preparing Affiliate Invoices: Handling invoicing for affiliates and ensuring all charges are accurately recorded and billed. Processing Employee Expenses: Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. Completing Cash Application: Applying cash receipts to accounts and ensuring the proper recording of payments. Entering Journal Entries: Posting and maintaining journal entries to ensure the accurate reflection of the company's financial transactions. Performing General Accounting Duties: Assisting with various general accounting tasks as needed, ensuring that all financial records are maintained with accuracy and integrity.
