Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage incoming mail and emails to the AP inbox, ensuring proper distribution and timely review.
• Audit and authorize invoices for accuracy, compliance, and eligibility for payment.
• Prepare open transactions for month-end close.
• Investigate and resolve issues from vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of vendor relationships, processes, and ongoing projects within the AP department.
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts, addressing discrepancies with invoice processors.
• Reconcile AP credit card transactions.
• Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with daily functions.
• Perform other accounting and clerical tasks as needed.

• Associate Degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience)
• 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
