Position Summary The Budget Office in the School of Professional Studies is seeking an individual to serve as a Budget Assistant III. Responsibilities include coordinating the preparation of budget reports, contracts and grants. Maintaining complex financial and budgetary spreadsheets; record expenditures and/or payments ensuring they are posted to proper accounts, apply calculations to data and tabulate. Establishing financial records and files and ensure that they are maintained and updated on an ongoing basis. Initiating and respond to various types of inquiries regarding financial policies, procedures, deadlines, etc. May assign and review work of and train a small group of student and/or casual employees. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.900. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
