Physical Therapist, HWC (Mahwah) Full Time Day
POSITION SUMMARY:
To plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in a variety of age groups according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team. To supervise work of support staff.
Schedule is something similar to:
Mon/Weds= 7a-3:30p
Tues/Thurs= 11a-7:30p
Friday alternates 7a-3:30p & 9a-5:30p
Sat hours seasonally, on rotation ~8x per year, 8a-12:30p
Aqua therapy interested preferred
EDUCATION:
Possess at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university, except for an applicant who prior to January 1, 2003, possessed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Current and valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification.
EXPERIENCE:
No previous experience required.

Special Skills/Qualifications * Current and Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification. * Standard Precautions. * Keyboard Skills. * Ability to perform work accurately and give attention to detail. * Ability to use effective critical thinking and analytical skills. * Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities. * Ability to communicate and interact with relevant departments within the health-system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members in accordance with Valley,s SERVE and CARE standards. * Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs * on competently in a changing work environment related to changing patient needs.
