As part of Detection and Measurement, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks. Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.

How You Will Make An Impact (Job Summary)

This position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Picks and prepares items for shipment.

What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)

  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items for outgoing shipments.
  • Assembles wooden and cardboard containers, applies labels to cartons.
  • Examines outgoing shipment to verify it meet specifications.
  • Operates forklift and uses hand truck to load and unload trucks.
  • Delivers orders in computer system and creates shipment paperwork.
  • Unpacks and verifies incoming shipments, rejects damaged goods, records shortages, and works with purchasing to correct any discrepancies.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

  • Basic carpentry skills
  • Safety conscious
  • Demonstrate quality work
  • Ability to operate to learn to forklift
  • Ability to plan and accomplish goals
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
