The Marketing and PR Administrative Assistant will work closely with the SVP, Marketing and PR and will perform a variety of marketing and communications -related administrative tasks, including assistance with the day to day support, publishing and sales processes, communications across departments, and other tasks as needed.

What you'll do:



  • Provide administrative support to the SVP, Marketing and Publicity and duties related to the day to day functions, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting including XFLow, AMEX, and invoice payments.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, author and agent meetings and marketing and sales related initiatives
  • Assist with events for marketing /pr including large scale events for imprints, author and sales related events and in-house coordination
  • Coordinate mailings for big-mouth, booksellers and other stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of press announcements, including press releases, cover reveals and book related communications to external stakeholders and internal for Sales and publishing team
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful communications of plans.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of departmental and imprint related meetings and events
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies across imprints
  • Act as a liaison between authors and the Publicity & Communications team, providing timely and professional communication.
  • Proactively identify and address any administrative or logistical needs to ensure smooth operations within the team.

This role will greatly benefit from the finalist who could come into the office 1-2 days a week and on as needed basis.

This role will have an annual salary of $47,500.
