Zookeeper - Heritage Farm Milwaukee County Zoo Hourly Pay Range: $21.29 to $23.81 Closing Date: 2/11/2025 or upon receipt of the first 50 applications Job Summary: The Zookeeper role maintains and enhances the welfare of the zoo's Heritage Farm animal population in accordance with the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) advanced standards for professional animal care. The position is also responsible for the daily care of Heritage Farm animals, their enclosures, surroundings, and support facilities. Additional responsibilities include daily reporting of assigned areas and specimens, public engagement and education, animal conservation and research, operation of working dairy farm, and training of the seasonal staff. Zookeepers must have a strong foundation in husbandry and training, as well as a commitment to positive, collaborative team relationships. Job Duties:
