Part- Time Production Scheduler I- Metals

As Part-time Production Scheduler I you will be responsible for working alongside the Production Scheduler III to create, manage, maintain, and expedite schedules in our Metals production department.

Part-Time Hours: Consistent weekly schedule, 20 to 30 hours, in the timeframe of 7AM to 5PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and maintain information necessary to schedule departments.
• Maintain accurate inventories.
• Follow up on expedited orders and do what is necessary to ship on time.
• Make decisions concerning material allocation.
• Answer lead-time and material availability questions from customer service.
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
• Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
• Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of scheduling experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
