Software Developer for Hardware Software Mapping

• The Web Software Developer we seek will work with a small team to design, build, test, deploy and support enterprise web applications to modernize the management of data and design information developed for our customers.
• The web applications will allow the product development team to store project data in a relational database, where the data not only provides the customer with complex re-build, upgrade, and sustainment information, but the data is also available for data mining in support of maintaining licensed software installs, license allocation, and system configurations.
• Display initiative on assignments, exercise independent judgment, and professionally execute projects with little direction.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Can provide specific, detailed information for software and technology selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Designing and developing with Information Security in mind
• System administration for Hosting and Deployment within an enterprise environment with Active Directory authentication.
• Capable of performing technical analysis in web application planning, engineering, and design
• Proactively provides analysis for implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solutions to web application problems.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Subject matter expert (SME) designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining web applications built on the Django Python Framework using a Microsoft SQL Server database for data storage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Web Developer with MS SQL.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Django Python Framework.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with GitLab and Git for version control.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HTML 5, HTMX, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with software engineering concepts, principles, and theories and an expert at applying technical standards and methodologies to resolve a wide range of issues creatively.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree
• Agile experience.
• Capable of working on complex problems of diverse scope or situations or data that requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
