This postdoctoral position is dedicated to studying autophagy functions in glia for breast cancer brain metastasis. The Wanglaboratory also focuses onthe functions and mechanisms of selective autophagy and lipid metabolisms in neural stem cells, microglia, and astrocytes. The lab developed novel genetically engineered mouse models to study roles of autophagy genes in brain developmental and in progress of breast cancer brain metastasis. We use a variety of techniques including single cell RNA-seq, single nuclei RNA-seq, single cell lineage tracing, human iPSC derived cerebral organoids, chemogenetics, clarity technique, patch clamp, super-resolution images, metabolic/molecular/cellular approachestogain insights in autophagys functions in human developmental disorders and breast cancer brain metastasis.
