Position Summary:
A Software Test Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and reliability of embedded systems, working closely with hardware and software engineers to identify and troubleshoot defects within the system, ensuring it meets quality standards and operates as intended across various conditions; requiring a strong understanding of both hardware and software principles, as well as experience with embedded testing methodologies and tools. What you will do as a Software Test Engineer:
* Test plan development: Create detailed test plans outlining test cases, scenarios, and expected results based on Software/sub-system/system requirements and specifications. The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Required: * Bachelor's in computer engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering. (A degree in another Engineering discipline may be acceptable with proven software education and/or training and demonstrated software experience.) Preferred: * Medical device industry experience.
