Mechanical Engineer/Designer (Harrisburg, PA)

• Complete engineering tasks (conceptual design through construction drawing development)
• Conduct one or more of the following: economic & energy analyses; load calculations, design and layout of equipment, duct and piping systems
• Development and/or review of ATC sequences of operation
• Develop and review equipment submittals
• Coordinate design and installation with Project Management, Construction and Service departments
• Field engineering: assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving
• Assist or complete project estimating and proposal writing, client interaction
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline required. PE or EIT preferred.
• 0-5 years of mechanical HVAC design experience.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency using the latest AutoCad/Revit software.
• Excellent understanding of engineering fundamentals with a focus on HVAC design.
• Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a timely, cost-effective manner
• MS Office proficiency required, with advanced Excel and Word experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
• Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; mileage reimbursed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
