Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will learn how to work in a professional environment. You will gain hands-on experience, learn how our organization runs and gain valuable insight on career choices. In addition to office duties, the intern will have the opportunity to work with all levels of personnel including C-suite members of the team. Tasking includes researching, presentation development, document reviews, and meeting support. This is a paid internship. If selected for the position, you must pass a reference and/or background check.



Responsibilities

    Prepare elevator pitches on current engineering projects
  • Identify, review, and elect current need for engineering projects for final internship project
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records relating to current engineering projects
  • Interact with engineering managers and team members in project review and kickoff meetings
  • Write and review engineering project schedules, milestone timelines, and contribute to project deliverables
  • Interact with projects through CAD modeling and other digital engineering platforms
  • Research and gather documentation on company position in industry
  • Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, etc. as needed
  • Perform receptionist duties including answering phones, answering the front door, in taking packages, and upkeeping facilities as required
  • Take notes and memos during meetings
  • Run general related errands
  • Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations, technology development roadmaps, and project related press releases
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Enrolled in a current community college or university pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Preferred 3.25 or above GPA
  • Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance
