THE HIGH LEVEL

Iron Bow Technologies has an immediate need for an experienced Program Manager interested in a remote opportunity!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

We're looking for a Program Manager who will manage and oversee large program initiatives within a matrixed environment. The Program Manager must have experience with supporting and deploying technology in a large Federal Government agency. Technical familiarity and ability to understand, translate, and oversee advanced engineering services and tasks in one or multiple of the following technology areas is strongly preferred: Collaboration, Networking, Wireless, Security, Data Center, deploying IT engagements for multiple locations concurrently. Strong knowledge and experience in relevant Cisco technologies and support environments is strongly preferred. Experience with enterprise level hardware asset and inventory management is also preferred. Proven experience leading and managing high level engineers providing services within complex customer IT environments is required.

The Program Manager must have experience driving the execution of technically complex IT solutions. The Program Manager must understand the importance of IT as it relates to their customers and be driven to achieve Program initiatives within a very dynamic customer environment. This team member must be proficient in overall project coordination and task delegation. The Program Manager must be able to orchestrate the overall Iron Bow teammates' actions with a focus on the customer experience, while working individually and through direct and matrixed Project Managers and individual contributors to deliver the program objectives on time, in budget, and at an acceptable level of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of program finances (budget as well as revenue/margin), risk, deliverables, and resource management. This role must be able to present to C-level Executives and be able to demonstrate presentation skills during the interview process. High attention to detail and extensive writing skills are required, as effective communication is critical within this role.

What You Will Do:

* Selected candidate will work directly with customer teams to provide advanced engineering services inclusive of both test and real-world environment

* Oversee highly complex technical teams and tasks, solving highly complex technical problems or issues concerning customer's enterprise Cisco infrastructure and it's interconnections with other vendor's systems

* Support the management, functionality, and security of customer's Cisco inventory within the enterprise

* Participate in and support joint discussions with customer stakeholders on their overall software strategy to include the development of operating procedures and support documentation

* Lead implementations with multiple customer teams to accomplish mission goals.

* Maintain an in-depth understanding of and compliance with all contractual artifacts including proposal documents, statements of work, deliverables, mandatory reports, CLINs, security and Service Level Agreements among others

* Manages budgets for projects/programs, inspecting program profitability

* Organizes resources, responsibilities, processes, and schedules to deliver program deliverables

* Understands the customer's culture and requirements and works to establish a strong rapport with the customer's representatives

* Works with a matrixed team to develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning

* Maintains a schedule of contract deliverables, meetings, and service level agreements

* Proactively identifies program issues and develops reasonable and appropriate solutions

* Demonstrates leadership to define internal requirements and related processes

* Conducts weekly internal team meetings with sales and engineering resources supporting the programs

* Works closely with account team to develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for additional product / services scope

* Produces and presents quarterly and annual program reviews for both internal/external customers

* Maintains program and contractual documentation in a centralized program repository

* Hires and manages resources to meet service delivery requirements; organize and deploy resources to meet surge requirements

* Manage subcontractors in terms of creating purchase orders, monitoring performance, and validating/receiving invoices

* Consolidates and approve reporting on contract funding, burn rates, and major tasks/efforts/initiatives

* Manages risks and relationships when dealing with the Contractors partners, vendors, and sub-Contractors, and other functions relating to a typical PgM role.

* Perform additional duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

* 10+ years of Project Management or Program Manager experience working IT implementations

* 5+ years applicable leadership/ people management experience

* Significant experience with Veterans Administration technology environment is highly desired

* Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, existing clearance highly desired

* Strong preference for ITIL and PMP certifications

* Bachelor's Degree highly desired

* Experience conforming with contract regulations and performance of obligations within the contractual agreement

* Operational, Sales and Business Development support experience preferred

* Effective interpersonal skills combined with high-level verbal and written communications skills

* A strong work ethic combined with a dedication to customer service

* Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines

* Ability to learn in a fast-paced and matrixed operational environment

* Must be able to work independently in a matrixed team environment

* Must possess strong attention to detail

* Must be able to utilize technology effectively and work remotely with minimal supervision

* Strong organization, presentation and customer service skills required

* Proper application of program management practices and activities

Minimum Qualifications:

* BS and/or 10 years of experience as a Program and/or Project Manager

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

* Anticipated travel is up to 10%
