  • Lead the design and development of RAN and Core systems for cutting-edge 6G and Next-generation Open RAN (O-RAN) infrastructures.
  • Drive innovations in end-to-end Network Slice Management, enhancing service quality and efficiency across diverse applications.
  • Explore and implement Multi-access Open RAN solutions, integrating Wireless LANs and cellular technologies for seamless connectivity.
  • Research and prototype solutions for Non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) to expand cellular access capabilities and coverage.
  • Utilize Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to automate network operations, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Oversee Intelligent Lifecycle Management for Cloud-native Cellular Systems, ensuring adaptability and scalability in evolving environments.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with experts to push the boundaries of 5G-Advanced/6G technologies.
  • Take part in groundbreaking projects that shape the future of network orchestration and automation, accelerating the adoption of next-gen solutions.

You have:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Excellent programming skills for prototyping.
  • Prior research experience supported by a proven track record.
  • Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • A strong publication record in relevant academic journals.
  • Hands-on experience on open-source projects, e.g., OpenAirInterface, srsRAN, Open5GS, Free5GC.
  • Ability to identify upcoming research trends and directions with a focus on maximizing impact.
