Financial Analyst, Service

Rivian is hiring a Financial Analyst on our Service Finance team. This analyst will manage the Charging Service Operations budget and collaborate with Service Center managers to drive each site to profitability. They will support other teams within the Technical Service Operations group, as well as supporting the Service Parts organization. This role is critical to the success of strategically growing the Rivian Service Center network, so we're looking for an individual who is extremely analytical and super attentive to detail, is a strong relationship builder, and is motivated to drive results.

• Serve as a trusted Business Partner to the Service organization by effectively reviewing, analyzing, and articulating divisional budgets and forecasts, and executing financial planning needs
• Manage Charging Service Operations planning; review and approve POs within budget; ensure expenses are properly capitalized or charged to other teams
• Develop business case models for the Service Engineering team, including make-vs-buy analysis, ROI on Tooling purchases
• Generate site-level Service Center P&Ls for a region of the US and review monthly with site managers to drive each site to profitability; manage Small Works Requests for sites in your region; and serve as the point-of-contact for all Finance questions
• Support key projects and analysis for the Service Parts team, including inventory management and logistics optimization
• Partner with Corporate Accounting and other Finance teams to perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities; including managing accruals and preparing close presentations
• Prepare Budget and Forecast presentations that provide insightful analysis and required action items to support Service leadership in making informed business decisions, identify risks & opportunities, and track variances to the annual budget
• Proactively work to improve data quality and collection processes to drive continuous improvement in forecast timing and accuracy
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support other teams as needed

• Strong Excel, Docs, and Slides skills required
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Databricks, and Hex a plus
• Experience in Automotive, Engineering or Retail industries preferred
• Bachelor's degree (MBA/CPA a plus) in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of related business experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
