Position Summary:

Under general supervision, provides comprehensive, stimulating and interactive technical and soft skills training and guidance/instruction to new and existing staff members in areas of product and service knowledge, Credit Union policies and procedures, computer systems, and member service. Maintains a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of operational policies and procedures. Works with stakeholders to understand, analyze, research and document new and existing procedures and processes. Serves as in-house SME for knowledge management system needs and back-up to core training courses. Collaborates to ensure operational procedures are consistent with established goals and requirements. Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with The Apple Way principles of Team Up, Serve With Purpose, Challenge Yourself and Own It. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Talent Development or AVP of Talent Development.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manages Apple's knowledge management plan through identification, implementation and adoption of knowledge management best practices and technologies. Audits and maintains Apple's knowledge management system, to ensure it is accurate. Ensure regular updates are posted on the Teams KM channel and Manuals SharePoint page to keep the team informed and aligned.
  • Creates content with high levels of accuracy. Designs and documents workflow processes, policies, and procedures
  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand, analyze, research and document new and existing procedures and processes
  • Collaborates with teams cross-functionally to ensure consistent content format and structure across all business functions. Responds to feedback from end users regarding documentation updates and needs
  • Evaluates materials and job knowledge presented during instruction so that information retention and efficient implementation are being achieved. As well as ensuring continuous improvement to the knowledge management system by soliciting improvement ideas
  • Responsible for various TD Administrative duties, including Educational Assistance, Recognition platform, Company Town Meeting, etc
  • Gathers data and tracks usage and effectiveness of how employees interact with knowledge management resources
  • Serves as back trainer for core classes and provides technical and soft skills training to staff members in support of operations for new and existing staff members.
  • Utilizes the Learning Management System to monitor and track weekly staff training and education achievements, including outside certifications.
  • Completes, communicates, and updates the status of projects on a timely basis; ensures related monthly dialogs are held in accordance with Credit Union practices.
  • Develops oneself to maintain an awareness of the learning industry and best knowledge management practices, approaches, techniques, and innovations

Qualifications-all required unless otherwise noted:

  • 2 -4 years of experience in education, training and development, knowledge management or financial service industry. Preferred Adult Learning Background and Knowledge Management Experience
  • Associate degree or currently pursuing a BA or BS degree.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and members
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure/training manuals
  • PC, fax, copier, telephone, projectors, cameras, etc. Travel (to branch locations) is required as needed. Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
