Network Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable USAF to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network US Air Force needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you'll help the Air Force create a reliable network to support our national defense. You'll work with SMEs, customers, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You'll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you'll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to grow your skills in cybersecurity while continuing to grow your network engineering experience.

You'll apply your expertise in routing and switching, network design and architecture, IP engineering, multi-protocol label switching, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force and Space Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. You'll serve as a trusted advisor on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

Further your career with us as we help protect our nation's critical data, networks, and systems.
