JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics seeks to hire an undergraduate student to work part-time as a Research Assistant. The selected candidate will assist in the development and fabrication of diffraction gratings. The candidate will help develop and refine processes that are essential to the performance of the gratings fabricated. Laboratory work will take place in the nanofabrication laboratory in the Millennium Science Center. Expected hours will be approximately 20 hours/week. The selected candidate will report to Dr. Fabien Grise. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
