Your Role at Acousti
The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing financial insight and support in all areas of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, and presentations to the Board of Directors. This role will coordinate and support the Company's financial forecasting, planning, and analysis process based on relevant business information. In addition, this role will support the operations of the business with needed financial and other analyses and will assist in the finance function with financial reporting. In this role, you will contribute directly to our company's success by ensuring operations are supplied with actionable information and delivering high-quality financial analysis. You will work closely with our dynamic team and play a key part in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring our high standards are maintained.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Ensure the development of accurate, consistent, and timely reporting, analysis, and delivery of business results and planning output
* Prepare internal reporting and analysis to support Management, Executive, and Board level presentations, including:
o Analyze monthly financials
o Review/validate data for accuracy and consistency
o Assist in preparing monthly results deck for distribution to management and the Board of Directors
* Forecast, budget, analyze, and report business and financial results, providing insight and analysis to support the business in making strategic decisions
* Support the annual budget and mid-year forecast processes by assisting business leaders in delivering results aligned with strategic objectives. Identify and implement ongoing improvements to the budget/forecasting process
* Review reports on historical and future performance trends to determine appropriate paths for financial development
* Review forecasts for a variety of departments and business opportunities
* Partner with location management to help the businesses achieve objectives, provide analysis and meaningful reporting to support the understanding of results and strategic vision
* Present and monitor dashboards and benchmarks to support and drive strategic & operational decision-making.
* Prepare a 13-week cashflow report and analysis
* Analyze company performance against targets as well as comparisons to relevant competitors or peers
* Track progress and attainment of the company's bonus program
* Assist with monthly reconciliations and entries for month-end close and variance analysis to budgets and forecasts
* Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
* Other special projects as assigned

What We're Looking for in You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* 3+ years of FP&A experience
* Financial modeling and budgeting experience required; Ability to analyze complex information, draw logical conclusions about business implications, and identify actions
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage300, Sage Intacct), Power BI, and Velixo as an extraction tool for Excel
* Analytical and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work well under time constraints, maintain confidentiality
* Team oriented; contributes to the overall finance environment by driving overall results
* Superior communication skills, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:
* Knowledge of accounting (US GAAP); accounting experience
* Experience in the construction industry or with project-based accounting
* Experience with Private Equity portfolio companies
* Progress in the attainment of the Chartered Financial Analyst Certification

Education Requirements
* Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, data science, or finance
