JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Watershed Ecohydrology and Biogeochemistry Lab in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at The Pennsylvania State University is hiring a Watershed Science Lab Technologist. This position is responsible for designing and conducting research projects/experiments in the laboratory/fields of watershed science, ecohydrology, and biochemistry. This includes investigating and evaluating research methods, advising faculty/researchers on optimal use of methodology and equipment. The position also collects, correlates, analyzes, summarizes and reports on results; identifies data integrity issues; trains users in equipment operation and research techniques; and oversees daily operations of projects. This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire with a possibility of refunding. Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
