Hours: 8am-4pm Monday through Friday Pay: $35-38/hour Job Duties/Responsibilities: Perform layout inspection using the Coordinate Measuring Machine, various variable and attribute gauging or surface plate measurement techniques. Assure accurate QA Sample Inventory records are maintained. Assure timely verification of all tooling changes and/or corrections. Perform statistical analysis as deemed necessary by the Quality Manager or Engineer. Provide accurate and timely Layout Reports. Training of inspectors in gaging techniques and new gaging. Working in PLEX (ERP/MRP system) to coordinate and maintain calibration system. Work with NPI teams to understand drawing requirements and determine gaging needs for new products. Essential Functions: Reading and interpreting blueprint requirements and basic process and product acceptance standards. Software and computer literacy. Coordinate Measuring Machine Programming/Operation using Mitutoyo MCOSMOS Software. Coordinate measuring machine programming/Operation using Zeiss Calypso software. Surface plate inspection. Ability to work with CAD models. Perform Destructive Testing Educational Requirements: High school education or GED. Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Excellent knowledge of GD&T 2 - 5 years' experience with CMM variable and attribute gauging Basic statistical knowledge. Good math and reading skills. Good attendance and work habits. Ability to work independently and make consistent decisions. Willingness and ability to be trained in the job function and system requirements. Good interpersonal ability with individuals at all levels of the organization. Ability to work effectively with suppliers.
