What You'll Do in This Position Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join a diversified and growing team. The system administrator role will be supporting the facilities computer systems (Operational Technology - OT systems) by installing, designing, and protecting. Includes working on computer systems, local area networks and network segments, and peripherals. Solving problems as they arise with systems or during system health checks. Perform routine maintenance and monitor computers, networks, and peripherals to ensure everything is operating and running smoothly. Additionally, duties include gathering statistical information and reportable metrics. Providing system security responsibilities and overseeing the security installations. Working with vendor and/or different operating systems and versions. Administering servers, workstations, laptops, printers, routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensuring tasks are documented and detailed so that management/leads can follow-up and are acceptable as objective evidence for auditors. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Clearance Required to Perform Job Q Qualifications We Require Bachelor degree in applicable science or engineering discipline Other Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, Management Information Systems, Network Engineering, or similar discipline. Qualifications We Desire Active DOE Q clearance preferred.
