The Sustainability Analyst is a critical role that supports the development of and access to sustainability programming, education and resources across all U.S. business offices and nearly 3,000 clinics worldwide. This exempt, full-time hybrid position and based out of DaVita's World Headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sustainability Analyst role is a program administration and resource development-focused role for the Energy & Sustainability team. This position is comprised the following core job functions: Teammate Engagement Program Facilitation, Sustainability Program Communication Support, Event Planning and Coordination, and Administrative Support.

Under the supervision of the Energy & Sustainability Senior Analyst, this role oversees the deployment of teammate engagement and communication strategies. This teammate will oversee the administration of the sustainability champion program, including creating teammate-focused sustainability programming, fostering internal and external partnerships, developing of education materials, and providing resources for DaVita teammates across our global operations.

The Sustainability Analyst will also play a critical role in the implementation of strategic communication plans relating to teammate engagement programming. This teammate will create content for and implement communications within channels owned by Energy & Sustainability team, as well as company-wide communication channels in partnership with DaVita's Communication Team.

The Sustainability Analyst will engage in cross-functional interdepartmental relationships to support the execution of large-scale, company-wide engagement initiatives, such as "Earth Day". This teammate will also provide guidance and administrative support for implementing sustainability best practices at large DaVita gatherings.

Lastly, this role will provide the Energy & Sustainability team with numerous administrative functions as needed, administrative tasks as needed, including (but not limited to) vendor onboarding and invoice payment, contract support, online application/system support, and meeting organization.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position, but are not intended to be all-inclusive:

Teammate Engagement Program Facilitation

• Administering sustainability-related teammate engagement programming, including development of educational materials and resources for teammates, and supporting business office sustainability committees.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on a diverse portfolio of teammate engagement opportunities.
• Work closely with procurement team to monitor inventory of team-branded incentivization materials and swag.
• Performs basic data analysis for engagement metrics to support overall strategy.

Sustainability Program Communication Support

• Develops content and administers the Energy & Sustainability monthly newsletter, oversees the Energy & Sustainability team Outlook inbox.
• Partners with Communications Team to administer company-wide sustainability communication strategies.
• Develops sustainability-related content for internal and external DaVita websites.

Event Planning and Coordination

• Works cross-functionally to facilitate company-wide engagement initiatives at a large-scale.
• Provides guidance for sustainability best practices at DaVita events and provides administrative support onsite as needed.
• Supports planning and execution of annual multi-day sustainability conference.
• Helps coordinate annual multi-day sustainability conference for the Energy & Sustainability team.

Other Duties

• Supports Energy & Sustainability team with administrative tasks as needed, such as vendor onboarding and invoice payment, contract support, online application/system support, and meeting organization.
• Attend team meetings, conferences and training sessions as scheduled or needed

• Proficient in project management; comfortable with autonomous work functions and ability to take initiative, plan, prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills including ability to communicate information clearly to audiences with varying degrees of familiarity with sustainability
• Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse groups and within a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, and an approachable and open disposition
• Strong organizational skills and ability to build and leverage relationships across diverse teams
• Champion DaVita's Mission and Values both internally and externally

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional Experience: Sustainability Program Coordination: 1-3 years
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Skills: Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to travel up to 5%
