ABX FLIGHT SUPPORT SPECIALIST (Night Shift)

Description

The Flight Support Specialist will provide support to the aircraft dispatchers, direct phone communication with flight crew members, data entry and report generation, accurate recordkeeping in accordance with FAA requirements, monitor flight progress of charter operations and CVG and ILN operations and disseminate information to Crew Scheduling, System Travel, System Control and Charter department accordingly. This position is for night shift, 9:00pm to 7:00am Wednesday through Saturday.

Requirements:



  • Must have High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years general office experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Very good communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-functional atmosphere
  • Effective geographical knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and shift changes if required


Preferred Skills:



  • Familiarity with 3 letter airport identifier codes
  • Familiarity with FAA Regulations Part 121
  • Knowledge of aviation operations


Schedule: 3rd Shift

Wednesday 5pm to 3am

Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9pm to 7am
