PeopleSoft HR Help Desk Developer

Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. We are seeking a PeopleSoft HR Help Desk (HRHD) Developer to support, enhance, and maintain our PeopleSoft HR Help Desk (HRHD) system. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PeopleSoft development tools and experience in customizing, integrating, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft HRHD solutions. This role requires strong technical skills to develop and maintain HR case management workflows, security configurations, reports, and system enhancements.

Candidates are required to reside within the National Capital Region.

You Will:



  • Develop, configure, and enhance the PeopleSoft HR Help Desk module based on business requirements.
  • Customize PeopleSoft components, pages, records, and fields to improve system functionality.
  • Implement PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker for workflow automation and system integration.
  • Integrate PeopleSoft HRHD with other HR and IT systems, such as HCM, Payroll, CRM, and external case management tools.
  • Develop and maintain web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration points between PeopleSoft and third-party applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and system errors in PeopleSoft HRHD.
  • Work with functional teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Apply PeopleSoft patches, fixes, and updates while ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
  • Manage and maintain security roles, permissions, and user access within PeopleSoft HRHD.
  • Ensure compliance with HR data privacy and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Create and modify PS/SQL queries, BI Publisher reports, SQR, and PeopleSoft Query Manager reports for HR case analytics.
  • Optimize data retrieval and performance tuning for reporting efficiency.
  • Work with HR and business teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement system enhancements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and developer guides for HRHD configurations.


You Have:



  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must possess and maintain a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Security+ Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience, including PeopleSoft HR Help Desk (HRHD).
  • Strong expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and SQR.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules, including HR, Benefits, and Payroll, is a plus.
  • Proven experience in workflow automation, case management, and HR service delivery.
  • PeopleTools, PeopleCode, App Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface
  • SQL, PS/Query, SQR, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP Web Services
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting PeopleSoft applications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft security administration and access controls
  • Familiarity with cloud integrations and PeopleSoft upgrades
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with HR, IT, and business teams.
  • Ability to work independently in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI development.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and HR case management best practices.
  • Experience in migrating PeopleSoft applications to Cloud or SaaS platforms.
