Description
Position Summary Responsible for maintaining equipment, buildings, and grounds. Troubleshoots and repairs production equipment to minimize down time. Ensures employee safety by making necessary changes and repairs to equipment. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibility. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs., frequently lift/move up to 100 lbs., and occasionally lift/move more than 100 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock and frequently exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
