Retirement Job Description
Purpose and Scope The UM HR Retirement team has an overall responsibility for providing support, education, and stewardship for the University of Missouri Retirement Plans for all Faculty and Staff, including matters pertaining to the Defined Benefit Plan, the Hybrid Plan, the Defined Contribution Plan, Voluntary Retirement Plans, and Retiree Health and Welfare programs. This position will have key responsibilities in the daily retirement functions carried out on behalf of the Board of Curators of the University of Missouri. This position will provide analytical oversight with calculating Retirement Benefits in accordance with the Retirement, Disability, and Death Benefit Plan as well as provide customer support to the department's daily functions. The following responsibilities are performed by a team of 3.0 FTE and are part of the overall Retirement Team, serving over 55,000 active and separated benefit recipients yearly. Responsibilities 35% Analyze and calculate defined benefit and health & welfare benefit eligibility.

10% Vendor and Cross Departmental Relationships

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated analytical background with financial and/or accounting experience. Ability to understand the UM Retirement Plans and interpret impact to faculty, staff, and retirees. Experience working with defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans. Familiarity with university systems (PeopleSoft, Perceptive Content, RPAS) and policies. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $51,875.20 - $57,000.00 per year Application Materials
