Ensure a smooth and professional experience by managing early and late arrivals, walk-ins, and all aspects of guest check-ins and check-outs Enhance guest experience by offering upgraded accommodations where available in accordance with authorized programs and processes Quickly address and resolve guest concerns while proactively identifying and managing potential challenges Partner with Housekeeping and other related departments to meet guest expectations and special requests Accurately post charges and credits, collect various forms of payments, ensuring balanced financial transactions Control and issue keys while promoting security, privacy, and confidentiality of all guests Assist Guest Services Representatives by managing calls, and responding to guest emails Balance room inventory in advance and identify and resolve any over-commitments by room types Review out of order rooms for accurate return dates; report any room maintenance problems to management, housekeeping and/or engineering Generate daily reports, including group arrivals and departures, housekeeping briefs, and trace reports, to support job duties
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Is a minimum of 18 years of age Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalenteducation experience Has prior experience as a Concierge, Hotel Front Desk Agent, or VIP Lounge Representative in a hotel or resort setting Has a strong administrative background and is highly skilled at adapting to various software systems
