Senior Project Manager

New Honor Society is looking for a dynamic, organized, and creative Senior Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role blending project management and video production expertise. In this pivotal position, you will work closely with account and creative leads to define project scope, process, timelines, and budgets. You'll oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept to delivery, with a deep understanding of the roles and deliverables essential for successful execution.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both creative environments and structured project workflows. We're seeking a strong communicator with a "get it done" attitude, who excels at building trusted relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with experience in video production or project management within a production company, eager to drive innovative production solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope of work, timelines, resource allocation, and budget
  • Clearly communicates project timeline and approach to team, fostering transparency and collaboration
  • Build thoughtful project plans, aligning resources best suited for the work
  • Proactively coordinate kickoff meetings and project check ins, keeping everyone in the loop throughout the process
  • Act as the go-to touch point for all projects, maintaining a deep understanding of their status and required next steps
  • Reviews project deliverables to ensure adherence to the scope of work including advising on the feasibility of creative concepts
  • Manage all aspects of the production process with tasks including creating in-house production budgets, managing production schedules, coordinating crew members, pulling insurance, acquisition/contracts/payment of talent and locations, and on-set logistics management
  • Cultivate/manage strong relationships with external vendors including 3rd party production partners from project bidding to file delivery
  • Identify the need for freelancers and assist in sourcing as necessary
  • Monitor budget throughout the project, effectively communicating any scope creep
  • Lead weekly internal client status and staffing meetings
  • Collaborate with fellow project managers to balance creative team workloads, making shifts as needed
  • Mentor and oversee junior and mid-level project managers


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
  • 5+ years of project management/producer experience within an advertising or production agency environment
  • Experience managing video projects is a must and experience managing print projects is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a project management software (Screendragon, Workfront, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills with a positive, problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment


New Honor Society operates under a hybrid work model. Employees are required to be in-office Tuesday through Thursday and can work remotely on Monday and Friday.
