As a Maintenance Tech I, your day will look like:

TheMaintenance Tech I works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. he or she helps troubleshoot and quickly repair any mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical problems should they arise.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Performing routine maintenance task and assisting higher-level staff with more complex tasks.
• Independently performing preventive, predictive and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, replacing or repairing parts, and ensuring safety compliance.
• Source and order parts.
• Maintain work areas, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules

Compensation:

• $23 to $27 per hour, dependent on skills, abilities, and experience.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proven experience asmaintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Ability to utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs
• Ability to read schematics and blue prints
• Good mechanical skills
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts
• Ability to utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs

BASIC REQUIRED SKILLS (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience will be considered):

Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician

• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good time-management skills.
• Ability to work with power tools.
• Knowledge of equipment - Identify components on a drawing and work as directed
