Infrastructure Support (iSupport) Engineer

Atlas Tech, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player for this remote position to join our group of Information Technology professionals. We are seeking a fully remote Infrastructure Support Engineer that will independently troubleshoot enterprise network issues to ensure continuity of service for customers. The selected individual must be able to evaluate circumstances, identify root cause, and develop a plan for resolution. A successful candidate must understand complex networks and utilize the latest practices and principles to resolve issues. In addition, the individual should be well versed in Cisco security platforms and have strong customer service skills.

**THIS IS A 100% REMOTE POSITION**

You Will:

• Provide Tier I/II help desk support for all tenants in the DHA network
• Triage issues and resolve and/or escalate them to the appropriate network teams for remediation
• Engage with internal and external customers to provide status updates on network issues
• Troubleshoot issues with a variety of different network devices and protocols
• Work in a team setting and make recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation
• Document projects, support actions, and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff
• Ensure incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements

You Have:

• U.S. Citizenship
• A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance
• 5+ years relevant experience in supporting a large network infrastructure
• A strong working knowledge with Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Virtual Private Network devices
• A good understanding of TCP/IP regarding routing and subnetting
• Experience with the following Network protocols and services:
  
  
  
  • Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP)
  • Access Control Lists
  • Layer 2 Switching
  • Spanning Tree
  • Packet Analysis
  
  
  
  
• Good written and oral communications skills
• A can-do team player attitude that can work under pressure and prioritize tasking
• Willingness and ability to work shifts to cover 24x7 operational environment

Education:

• IAT Level II
  
  
  
  • Security Certification (CCNP Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SCCP)
  • Cisco OS Certification
