Essential Functions:
Maintained physical stamina for tasks involving prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
Executed 8-step cleaning processes, including daily and discharge cleaning, bed making, wall spotting, and high/low dusting.
Ensured safe work practices by using caution signs and cones at all times.
Completed previous shift tasks when necessary and reported maintenance concerns.
Cleaned and sanitized organic body waste per supervisor instructions.
Handled curtain installations, including cubicle, shower, and window curtains.
Disinfected patient equipment, such as IV poles and pumps, during discharge cleaning.
Adapted to new cleaning procedures relevant to healthcare standards and practices.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

  • Cleaned patient equipment such as beds and furnishings upon the supervisor's request.
  • Provided manpower support for office moves, special conference room setups, and other assignments.
  • Competently selected and applied appropriate chemicals for cleaning tasks.
  • Responded promptly to emergency spill cleanup requests.
  • Assisted nursing staff in preparing extra beds and other duties during community disasters or emergencies.
